Thank you for your interest in the Over The Mountain Book Club! If you love books, then you are an honorary member of the Over The Mountain Book Club. Like us, you probably always have a book along to read, a title to recommend, and time to talk about works held dear. This online space was designed to give us a home to share that love of reading with others. You can check our book and meet-up schedule, request new books, buy the current book we are reading, and join the discussion.

  1. You must live within the radius of Mountain Brook or be willing to travel to meet-ups. We are now an online only book club, but we may still have girl’s nights every other month.
  2. We will have a discussion every two weeks about the current book. Please participate.
  3. Books are chosen by popularity of genres in the group and on book sites such as GoodReads. If you absolutely hate the book we are currently reading, you can opt out that month but we ask you at least give it a try.
  4. To be a part of the book club, you must have the book! This includes an actual tangible copy via the library or bookstore, Kindle or Nook readers, and audiobooks.
  5.  Judgment-free zone! This is a safe environment where all opinions are accepted. Please be kind and courteous to everyone in the group and help make everyone feel at home. After all, this is for fun!
